I've been programming (on-and-off) since age 10 (started with ZX Spectrum, Philips P2000 and then C64, 8088 pc, Atari ST, and then grudgingly back to pc's.

Software Craftsmanship means to me to (paraphrasing Ivan Moore who quotes someone else) care about my work, and keep growing and learning and be multidisciplinary (coaching, management, programming, teaching, writing, testing, music and photography are not mutually exclusive).

Favorite c2 wiki pages in the 90's : SpecializationIsForInsects and XpIsGeniusFriendly. You can't be the best in everything, but I've noticed for instance that good programmers also know a fair bit about testing, and the testers I respect also can program….
